Southwold 2010

What another incredable display created in such a beautiful place.

The contrast between the pebbles and the sand is awesome.

What a hard display to create in 3 days before the tide wiped it all away in an instance.

Even with the pier in the background my

butterfly looks awesome.

Then I added the sun.

Then a speedboat with seats.
This wasn't as big as most of the displays yet rain and high tides got me in the end.
Thank you to the local dinner for helping me out on the Southwold Peir.

Octopuss Leg Shaped Like a Kneeling Woman

Yes up at John"O"Groats Scotland I created an Octopuss and a big double decked boat.
One of the legs of the octopuss looked like this.

What a delightful photograph.

John o Groats pebble/stone sculpture 2010

John"O"Groats the top end of Scotland. What an unbelieveable journey. As you can see from the picture below balancing is in my blood along with sculpture.

This place had biggger material to work with which didn't do much for me because detail is what I was after.

Yet I must admit I think I did the Scots proud once again.

One big massive double decked boat with outboad engines and an octopus as well.

This display took over 10 days to create.

At least 10 - 15 tonnes of stones was moved to create this.

As you can see the wind was as powerful as ever.

I was actually freezing creating this because it is always windy up in Scotland even though the views are great.

What a display?

A lo of work went into this even though not many people got to see it.

Thank you to the German man who stopped and picked up some stones for me and also to the man from Brazil. Also thank you to all those people who helped me out with dinner on the camp site and to the local burger van man for some free breakfasts. Thank you everyone and respect to you all.

Largs, Scotlands Buzzin 2010

Here I am again creating magic up in Scotland at Largs.
Here the display is a big Scottish satire flag with a large bumbble bee.

This is all freestanding on the beach in incredable winds again.
The stripes of the bumble bee go the whole way through so I could try and get it looking as cool as possible.

I even included the cool sun wearing shades and a smiley face with the rays of light flickering of the flag.

In the end this display took ten days to complete with about tonnes of pebbles and stones moved by hand to create this piece.
Thank you to everyone who helped me out with food etc.
Respect to you all.
